The account
As part of my agency work between Mar 2024 and Sep 2026, I ran LinkedIn Ads for law firms in Dallas. I also ran Meta Ads for the same firms.
The goal on LinkedIn was more people asking for a legal consultation.
The problem in this niche
LinkedIn clicks are expensive, so a law firm needs the right people to click, not just more people. If you target one city and then filter by job title and seniority, the audience gets small fast. LinkedIn’s default settings can also spend money outside it.
Business owners and HR managers are often not ready to book a consultation the day they see an ad. In Texas, the ad copy also has to follow the State Bar’s rules for lawyer ads.
What I did
- Aimed the LinkedIn ads at decision makers, not at everyone on LinkedIn.
- Ran the LinkedIn ads to bring in requests for legal consultations.
- Ran Meta campaigns for the same firms, for brand awareness and to win new clients, and kept them inside the rules for legal advertising.
What changed
3.8% click‑through rate on the LinkedIn ads
Law firms in Dallas · ads aimed at legal consultations · within Mar 2024–Sep 2026 · from my resume
My resume does not record the spend, clicks, leads or cost per lead for this work, so I do not quote them. The Meta campaigns have no figures here for the same reason.
There is no screenshot of this work on this site, so the 3.8% click‑through rate comes from my resume.
For an agency
If your client is a law firm, I can run its LinkedIn and Meta ads under your name, aimed at the decision makers the firm wants as clients. I write the ad copy to fit the state bar’s rules for ads.
